What is THAW?
THAW stands for Trace, Hold, Allow, Wake up. It is a four-step method for identifying and transforming transgenerational patterns using multi-system energetic mapping - including Western astrology, Jyotish (Vedic astrology), Human Design, and Feng Shui.
What is transgenerational pattern work?
Transgenerational pattern work identifies inherited stress patterns, behavioral loops, and energetic imprints passed down through family lines. These patterns can manifest as repeated relationship dynamics, career blocks, health themes, or emotional responses that feel older than your own biography.
How does somatic recognition work in THAW?
In the Allow step of THAW, recognition lands in the body - not intellectually but somatically. We are using Yogic and Tantric methods to approach the body. The mapped pattern is permitted to surface and move through. This aligns with modern somatic research showing that the body must first recognize a held pattern before it can release it.
Who is THAW for?
THAW is for people who sense that certain patterns in their life - in relationships, health, career, or inner experience - may not be entirely their own. It serves those ready to look at inherited dynamics with precision rather than guesswork.
How does THAW relate to systemic constellation work?
THAW and systemic constellation work are complementary. THAW maps inherited energy patterns across multiple energetic systems, making the ancestral pattern level visible on the energetic level with precision. When the map might point to deeper inherited topics, it refers to work with constellation practitioners, which provides the relational processing. THAW makes the pattern visible; constellation work handles depth processing in that domain.
How does THAW relate to Somatic therapies?
THAW and Somatic therapies are complementary too. THAW maps inherited energy patterns across multiple energetic systems, making the ancestral pattern level visible on the energetic level with precision. Should THAW point to deeper inherited topics, it refers to work with Somatic therapy practitioners, who provide the processing on the body level. Somatic therapies like Somatic Experiencing are especially useful to reach the Inner Child on pre-verbal level, where e.g. constellation therapies cannot go since verbally based.
THAW makes the energetic pattern visible → Constellation work provides processing on the systemic or family level → Somatic therapies reach the pre-verbal inner child.
Can THAW help with epigenetic imprints?
THAW works with inherited energy patterns at the energetic level - the same patterns that epigenetic research has documented as passing through generations via DNA methylation. While THAW does not operate on the biological level, it identifies and maps the energetic signatures of transgenerational stress, then provides practices for generational pattern release and harmonization.
What is functional freeze and how does THAW address it?
Functional freeze is a state where the nervous system remains stuck in a freeze response - you may appear functional on the outside while feeling numb, disconnected, or stuck on the inside. Inherited patterns often trap the body in this state across generations. THAW thaws functional and energetic freeze at the energetic level by first mapping where the frozen pattern sits across multiple systems, then providing targeted yogic practices that allow the energetic pattern to surface and move through the body somatically.
